Volunteering: How YOU can help !
No need to have a green thumb!
Volunteers come from all walks of life, giving their time to help create a peaceful beautiful space in Kensington - a places where eyes & hearts can open to see the web of life connected to plants: what Italian horticulturalist June Pavia calls the Spibalopé - the magic thread that begins at the sun and makes all life possible . . .
Some Guidelines for Volunteering
Families are welcome to volunteer together; the youngest family member must be at least 10 years old.
Volunteers younger than 16 are required to work alongside a parent or family member at least 18 years old.
Minimum age for volunteers working on their own is 16 years.
Group Volunteering (Youth): We welcome students, scouts, or clubs who want to come out as a group for a special project.
Adults leading the group must be in a ratio of no less than 1 adult to every 5 youth, and the adults must be present alongside any younger volunteers.
Group Volunteering (Adults): We welcome workplace and university days of service to come out for special projects.
All Volunteer Groups must be scheduled in advance, and date and project availability vary throughout the year.
