Discover this one-of-a-kind village of salon-style studios, a huge converted performance warehouse, lounge, collaboration/meeting nooks, wildflower garden, and artist lodging at 2321 Emerald St (East Kens / 2 Blocks from York–Dauphin El). This expansive venue is ready to host community gatherings and performances of any shape and size.

LOCATION NOTES:  This is East Kensington – 15 Minute Walk from Pig Iron Theatre and Crane Arts, 8 Blocks from Foreman Arts Initiative. The Perch is one block from York/Dauphin El Train, Rowhome Coffee and Lost Time Brewing. Close to Jerry’s on Front, Zig Zag, PBC, Picnic, Fiore, American Grammar Books/Coffee, and Fishtown/Frankford Ave. 

PERCH FAMILY

W​e​'ve made a space for artists to work, learn, cultivate​ community​, and make new connections​. This is a beautiful space​ -​ great for teaching workshops or classes,​ rehearsing, audio/video recording, and other great gatherings.

The garden outside hosts an annual concert series, poetry readings, classes in native plants, birding and other heartful gatherings. Also.. we have amazing neighbors - across the street is the Emerald Street Community Farm, one of the best urban farms in the nation with a variety of events for children and adults, huge harvests of veggies & herbs, and… !!! chickens !!!!!

Our focus is on supporting your talents and dreaming with a great space, quality equipment and assistance.

We have options to work with everyone.
