About The Series

The Summer Series at The Perch is produced, directed, and accompanied by Daniel Espie. Daniel Espie (He/him), Theatre Includes: Recently, Songs For Nobodies (People’s Light), Head Over Heels (Theatre Horizon), Mary Poppins (Quintessence Theatre), Rocky The Musical (Walnut Street Theatre), Into the Woods (Arden Theatre), Little Mermaid (WST), The Wild Party (UArts), and Young Frankenstein (WST). Daniel also serves as the accompanist for Philadelphia Voices of Pride and has performed with the Ocean City POPS, Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, and small opera companies including Alter Ego Opera and the ENA Ensemble. A highly sought after pianist, Daniel maintains a busy performance and recording schedule with local singers and chamber musicians in the Philadelphia area. Website: danielespie.com.

About Nicole

Join us for the 4th of our Summer Series at The Perch Music and Arts Center with Nicole Renna!

Nicole Renna is a singer, director, writer, teacher, and creative producer working in Philadelphia. She has extensive experience performing in musical theater, cabaret, and opera with roles spanning from Amalia in She Loves Me to Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica. She made her directorial debut in ENAensemble’s The Propaganda Machine Show, where she directed the opera Greenland and arranged and led the PMS Cabaret. She is ENAensemble’s Theatrical Director, staging performances of ENA’s Serial Opera Project and mentoring singers, composers, and librettists who work with the ensemble. As a voice teacher, she is celebrated as a sensitive, empowering, and joyous communicator. For more info visit nicolerenna.net
