About The Series
The Summer Series at The Perch is produced, directed, and accompanied by Daniel Espie. Daniel Espie (He/him), Theatre Includes: Recently, Songs For Nobodies (People’s Light), Head Over Heels (Theatre Horizon), Mary Poppins (Quintessence Theatre), Rocky The Musical (Walnut Street Theatre), Into the Woods (Arden Theatre), Little Mermaid (WST), The Wild Party (UArts), and Young Frankenstein (WST). Daniel also serves as the accompanist for Philadelphia Voices of Pride and has performed with the Ocean City POPS, Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, and small opera companies including Alter Ego Opera and the ENA Ensemble. A highly sought after pianist, Daniel maintains a busy performance and recording schedule with local singers and chamber musicians in the Philadelphia area. Website: danielespie.com.

Up first is Anna Faye Lieberman! Journey with them as they remind you (and themselves) the importance of feeling your feelings. Sometimes, we have to sing about them. Travel through the decades of folk rock, indie, and a musical surprise or two as Anna figures out what it means to be a human (or purple little blob) who has the capacity to experience joy, (and sadness, and restlessness, and anger, and loss, and fear, and love and and and) on this planet we call home.
Anna Faye Lieberman (she/they) is a scrappy, queer, theatre artist. Passionate about the development of new works and the subversion of classics, they are a grounded storyteller with deep roots, who helps shape characters with their expansive, wacky imagination and love for deep investigation of the human experience. She wants to unleash your inner weirdo. They love cowboys, dirt, and their pets.
